No-Bake Maltesers Slice
Makes 12-16 pieces
Ingredients
175g golden syrup
125g unsalted butter
400g milk chocolate
170g digestive biscuits, crushed
180g Maltesers
Pinch of sea salt
Topping
200g milk chocolate
100g Maltesers, roughly chopped
Pinch of sea salt
Method
Line a square baking tray with parchment paper. In a large bowl, add the crushed digestive biscuits and Maltesers, and set aside.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the golden syrup and butter. Once melted, add 400g of milk chocolate and a pinch of salt, stirring until smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the crushed biscuits and Maltesers. Stir well to combine, then transfer to the lined baking tray and spreading evenly.
For the topping, melt the remaining 200g of milk chocolate over low heat. Pour it over the slice, then sprinkle with roughly chopped Maltesers and a pinch of salt. Transfer to the fridge to set for 3 hours. Once firm, slice and serve.
