Smoked Salmon Waffles

This recipe is brought to you by Ocean Blue Salmon 

Serves 2

Ingredients:

100g packet of Ocean Blue Sliced Smoked Salmon

2 store-bought waffles

100g cream cheese, softened

½ bunch chives, finely chopped, plus extra for garnish

½ bunch dill, roughly chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp capers

2 tbsp pickled red onions

1 lemon

Method:

  1. Toast the waffles until golden and crispy.

  2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese with the finely chopped chives and dill. Stir until smooth and well incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each toasted waffle. Top with Ocean Blue Sliced Smoked Salmon, followed by the capers, pickled onions, and a sprinkle of the remaining chives. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and zest, then serve.
