Chocolate Scrambled Oats

Serves 1

 Ingredients

1 banana

1⁄2 cup Happy Way Vanilla Whey Protein Quick Oats

1 egg

2 tsp cacao powder 

Pinch of salt

Extra virgin olive oil, to cook 

Method 

  1. Mash the banana in a bowl and add the oats, egg and salt. 

  2. Drizzle oil in a small frying pan over medium heat. Add mixture to the pan and flatten it to form a thin layer. Cook for 2 minutes, then break up the mixture with a wooden spoon and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes, or until ‘scrambled’ and cooked through.

  3. Serve with your preferred toppings! I chose banana, raspberries, peanut butter, mixed seeds and honey!
