5 Minute Snickers Porridge

Total time 5 minutes | Serves 1 | Vegan

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 1/3 cup milk of choice

  • 2 teaspoons cacao powder

  • 1 tablespoon protein powder (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed

  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a saucepan and cook on low-medium heat for approximately 5 minutes or until it reaches your preferred consistency.

  2. Serve with your choice of toppings (e.g. chia seeds, fresh fruit, yoghurt, nuts, seeds), and an extra drizzle of peanut butter.

Note: feel free to prepare this recipe as overnight oats by combining all ingredients in a bowl/container and refrigerating overnight. This will ensure the oats become thick and creamy, making it a great grab-and-go breakfast option.
